Challenge

With their new hemp gummy about to hit a wide distribution, Kiva Camino faced a unique challenge — their product isn’t exactly legal in every state. We had to find a way to communicate both the product’s existence and its availability.

Insight

Sometimes your biggest obstacle is your biggest ally. We knew that there was a relatable and familiar memory for consumers of when this product wasn’t legal. The fear, the uncertainty, and the difficulty in acquiring this before it was legal was the connection point to new consumers

Solution

To skirt the complexities of legal issues, we leaned into comedy with recognizable scenarios starring recognizable talent. 3 influencers with massive followings were tapped for our series of “comedy sketches” around the dangers of how these purchases used to be. This really drove home the safety and convenience of Kiva Camino. Our audience wasn’t born yesterday, so these were done tongue-in-cheek style so that viewers could fill in the blanks themselves (and so we could tapdance around the legality issues).
